Some sad news...

Hey everyone, I'm posting today with some news that makes me sad. I have decided that I need to take a break from Cheap Cheap for now as other areas of my life are requiring more attention. The good news is, there are SO many great sites out there that can tell you what all the great deals are as well! Here is a list of my favorite ones:

Store deals coming today

We had such a lovely time at the beach this past weekend and are now back home getting into our routine again. I hope that you and your family also enjoyed the holiday weekend. The store deals that will be coming today are Target, Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Kroger....stay tuned....

And We're Off....

My hubby, myself, and the little guy are off to the beach for the weekend! The place we are going does not have internet access so I will try my best to deal without the computer for a couple of days :) I have a few posts that are scheduled to go up over the weekend but the store deals will be up on Monday night or Tuesday morning. I was super lazy and took the day off yesterday to play with my little man and to drive around town collecting tons of Craigslist items!! I just love craigslist! Well, now I am back and I have over 700 emails to go through with new deals so brace yourselves.... the deals are a coming!

Happy Momma's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommas out there!

I have spent the entire weekend hanging out with my family so many more posts to come on Monday! I hope everyone of you had a great day with your mother's and/or children.

Did Anyone go to KFC yesterday??

What an experience we had yesterday at KFC!! My hubby, myself, and the little man headed over there with 2 coupons in hand and were stunned that we got through the line in only 5 minutes!! (Everyone there had the coupon by the way :)

The bad part was, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food! Now, I am not a complainer when it comes to getting free stuff....quite the opposite rather. But, there were TONS of people complaining about it taking a long time I was like....people....it's free!! Then when we were leaving there was a couple that was actually arguing with the cashier about not wanting the two sides that the manager had decided on (which it says, managers choice on the coupon) and was talking about SUING THEM!!! I couldn't believe it! That gave me a good laugh so I walked up to the counter beside this couple, faced the workers that were running around like crazy trying to get food out to the 30 people waiting inside and 30 cars outside...and said...."Thank you guys SOO much for the FREE meal! I know this has been a busy day for you all so Thanks again!" and left. :)

Beach...HERE I COME!!!

My husband and I are heading to the beach for a few days for a business conference. Update on my baby boy

Thanks to all the emails and kind comments about my sick little guy. We went to the hospital on Thursday night because he was having trouble breathing and had a temp of 104.9!! He was diagnosed with croup...for the second time this month.... and is feeling much better but still has a low fever and coughing fits every now and then. He is getting back to his normal happy self though so all is well. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. There is nothing sadder than a sick little kid....

Taking a couple days off

So my baby boy is sick today...we actually spent a few hours in the er last night...yuk! All is well now but we are very sleepy and my little guy just wants to be held....so sad :( So, I am taking a couple days off to be with him. I will be back Sunday with drug store matchups. Have a great Friday!!

I know that I just got started with this blog and I don't really have a ton of readers yet but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to know what you think.  I have created this blog because so many of my friends ask me all the time, "How did you get all this stuff for FREE!!" and "I would love to coupon but I don't have time to search around forever for the deals that are going on in my stores!" or "I don't have the time or patience to go to 4-5 stores every week just to get the deals!".  So, I am trying to do all....or most of the work for you.  A lot of Saving Blogs post up to 20 posts a day which is great but very time consuming to read and look through.  My goal is to sift through those blogs as well as free newsletters that I get every and only post about the very best deals and steals.  

This is where you come in.  I would really like to know what you want as a reader.  If you love going to Target and want the Target deals, ect....please comment below.  If you don't have a clue how rebates or couponing works, comment and I would be glad to do a post on it.  This blog is for you, so bring it on and let me know what you want :)
